First,understand how Alexa’s ranking works, your Alexa Ranking this is taken straight out of Alexa’s website: “Alexa’s traffic rankings are based on the usage patterns of Alexa Toolbar users and data collected from other, diverse sources over a rolling 3 month period. A site’s ranking is based on a combined measure of reach and pageviews. Reach is determined by the number of unique Alexa users who visit a site on a given day. Pageviews are the total number of Alexa user URL requests for a site. However, multiple requests for the same URL on the same day by the same user are counted as a single pageview. As you can see that Alexa Ranking is measured by the reach and pageviews therefore, in the long run once your SEO improved your Alexa Ranking will automatically improved. SEO helps you to improve your rankings on search engines as many of you already know and probably do it yourself, when you are doing research on the Internet most of the time your first destinations are search engines. A user generally reviews no more then 2 pages of search results therefore it is important to get listed on the first page of the search results in order to be viewed by users. Once your optimization is done you will ranked on the first page and generally will get a massive amount of traffic on a daily basis to your website, as Alexa’s ranking is measured by reach and pageviews your Alexa ranking will definitely improved.

The reason is that when you advertise via full page popunders the users have already landed on your home page and if they find it interesting they will click on other links on your website to find out more. 3D Text effects Tutorials

In this tutorial you will learn how to make basic 3D text in simple steps.

1. Step Create a new document, size 250 x 250 px. Use Text Tool, please try to choose some bold font, like Impact. Change foreground and background color to default by pressing “D” on keyboard. Change text size to 132px and type some text as shown on Image 1.  |

2. Step Try to visualy center text on image area. Right click on text layer and choose “Rasterize Type”. While your text layer is still selected press “CTRL + T” on your keyboard and rezise your text like shown on Image 2.  |

3.Step Now here is a bit tricky part to do. You still must have your rasterized text layer selected, start duplicating your text layer. You do duplicated if you hold right “ALT” on keyboard and left mouse click, and slowely drag your mouse down, to get duplicate of layer. You will have to make 9 duplicates of text layer to get decent 3d effect. Try to arrange the duplicated like shown on Image 3.  |

4. Step Now select all “copy” layers and merge them together, just don’t merge first original text layer. You can select all copy layers (if you have photoshop CS2) just by clicking on last layer and by holding “SHIFT” your can click on first layer, all other layers between will be selected too. If you have older versions of photoshop you will have to select them manually. When you select all copy layers you can merge them with pressing “CTRL + E” on keyboard. To get a better 3d effect you can now adjust size of layers vertically like shown on Image 4.  |

5.Step You can now move your default (first) text layer above those merged-copy text layer. Double click on your top text layer now, in layers pallete to go into Layers style menu. Select “Bevel and Emboss” and enter all options as shown on Image 5. You can also choose your own colors there for highlight and shadow mode of bevel effect…  |

6. Step Now move to “Color Overlay”, select it and choose some nice color, we used light blue. Click OK. Hold “CTRL” and left click on thumbnail of your second layer (one that is merged and looks like 3d). You will get a selection around it. Now click on menu Select -> Feather. Choose feather radius of 2. Click OK. Click on menu Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur. Under raduis enter 4. Click on menu Select -> Inverse (or “Shift + Ctrl + I) to inverse the selection. Press “Delete” key on your keyboard, twice. Press “Ctrl + D” to remove the selection. |

Attractive Text Effect

This tutorial will show you now to create a simple neon text effect.
Step 1: Open a document and change the background to black. Make sure the foreground colour is white, now simple use the text tool and write whatever you need to.
Step 2 : Create a copy of the layer and switch to the copied layer.
(The one at the top of the layers box) Now go to Edit / Stroke and change
the hex to #0299ff
Step 3 : Go to the blending options and apply these settings for outer glow,
the hex is #0165c9.
Step 4 : Place the original text layer above your copy’s layer and set it’s blending
mode to Overlay and your finished!

1. Open your photo.

2. Duplicate your photo, press CTRL+J. Resize your working space, make it a little bigger than your photo size. Click the Crop tool 
and drag the entire area then on the bottom right corner, click hold and drag the transforming point. Press ALT key while dragging to constrain a proportion. Then press ENTER when you’re done.
3. Change the color of your background, anything but not white. Click the Add Layer Style button at the bottom of the Layer palette ans choose STROKE.
4. Do the following settings for Stroke:
Take note that this setting is only good for the size of the photo I used in this tutorial. If your photo is smaller or bigger that what we are using here, just adjust the settings.
5. Click also the Drop Shadow in the Layer Style and just leave it to the default settings: Click OK when you are done.
6. This is now the photo. It looks fine and satisfying but to add a little depth, right click on the Effects on the layer and choose Create Layers. This will create a separate layer for the Stroke and the Shadow.
7. Select the Drop Shadow layer and click the Move tool 
, rotate the shadow a little bit like this. Then press ENTER when you already positioned the shadow.
8. Select the Eraser tool 
and start erasing the top part and the left side of the photo. Make sure that you have selected the Drop Shadow layer.
You can lower the shadow opacity to 80%. So this is now the photo:
